The Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is located in the Wulingyuan District of Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, China, and was the first national forest park established in the country back in 1982. Known for its unique quartz sandstone peak landform and rich natural landscapes, Zhangjiajie successfully entered the UNESCO World Heritage List (1992) and also became a World Geopark and one of the first national AAAAA-rated tourist destinations. It is not only the source of inspiration for the “floating mountains” in the movie “Avatar,” but it is also renowned as a paradisiacal land on earth, captivating the hearts of visitors.
